PRESS RELEASE March 6, 2004

(Austin, Texas) The word is out, the web site is up. VoxFlow’s official launch event is scheduled for March 14-16, 2004 at the VoxFlow booth at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival, in Austin, Texas at the Austin Convention Center. This is just the beginning.

VoxFlow is a new Austin Texas company entering the rapidly growing world of Internet Telephony, Voice over Internet Protocol, or simply VoIP service. We coined the name “Broadband Voice” and that is fairly descriptive of the product we sell, says Michael Gunter, the company’s founder. You need broadband Internet Access to use it, but that’s all you need to talk to almost anyone in the country without per minute charges.

VoxFlow is an Austin, Texas based company with roots in Austin’s vibrant ISP and web development community. Gunter, also founded and ran one of Austin’s oldest ISPs, Database City, for over 10 years before starting this new company. “As an Internet service, this could be the killer app we’ve all been waiting for” says Gunter. The news is full of talk about VoIP now, and our competitors are emerging, but we’re ahead in many ways already. We have the highest quality product at a value-based price. “The key is the network and VOIPCORE is our differentiation in the market. Vonage, VoxFlow’s main competitor has gotten all the PR so far, but Vonage does not have a network like this, and neither do the big telecommunications companies.

Gunter seems undaunted. “We’ll be competing with the likes of Cox, Time Warner, AT&T, as well as smaller players like Vonage, but we will not be small for long, and as an agile competitor who has seen land grabs before, our feature set will grow faster and be more dynamic.” Consumers and businesses who want to start out in VoIP are wise to take a chance on us. “Our product is truly better” he says. “Check the details, you’ll see what I mean.”

VoxFlow has Agent opportunities for sales persons who want to do the good work of spreading value across the globe. Because the service works anywhere you can plug into broadband Internet, and because flat-rate calling covers the contiguous US, it can be sold anywhere. We are a cosmopolitan company, with a global vision to match the global product. We’re looking for partners, alliances, sales organizations, and technology evangelists who want to help us bring VoxFlow to the world.

“We are open to inquiries from anyone who can use or help to sell this product,” says Gunter. You can order the service now, and check it out at www.VoxFlow.com. You may not appreciate the innovative features of VoxFlow until you experience them. This is VoIP at its best, and is easy for consumers to set up, use, and travel with. It’s going to play into the WiFi open hot spot revolution, into the cellular and PDA revolution, and into the computer telephony integration revolution, all of which are building now. None of this is mature. In fact maturity in these areas is tantamount to obsolete, if it were not for the fact that everybody understands telephones, this would not be as exciting. Because they do understand basic phone service we expect rapid adoption among broadband users. For others, it’s a new reason to get broadband.
